3. The colour scheme used by StateScot.uk is as follows:
   • Green means the indicator is improving.
   • Red means the indicator is worsening.
   • Amber means the indicator is unchanging, or performance is mixed (a target has been missed but performance is improving, or a target has been hit but performance is worsening).
   • Grey means the figure is shown for information only, because judgement about whether the change is positive or negative would depend on political perspective.
4. Performance data and information used on this site are sourced from publicly available resources from the Scottish Government, partner bodies, the ORR, and the ICAEW.
